The following instructions will help your students complete this task in a timely manner:

1. generate two quadrilateral pieces of paper by lining up two pieces next to each other. This can be done by folding the corners to make two triangles. From there, cut off the small rectangles at the top, which will then form two squares.
2. Once again, fold the triangles in half - then unfold the paper.
3. Have your students decorate one side of each piece of paper.
4. Place the undecorated sides of each piece of paper against each other.
5. Make four cuts on the folded lines.
6. Punch four holes in the pinwheel. Make a hole in each corner.
7. Secure the four points at the center.
8. Insert a push pin through the punched holes through the center of the pinwheel. This will attach the pinwheel to the pencil eraser.

3. Cut and glue paper streamers to one end of the box.
4. Have your students punch holes on the top of the wind sock.
5. Cut two pieces of string, almost one foot in length.
6. Tie the strings to the box.
7. Tie a longer piece of string to those that are smaller and already attached - this will help hang the wind sock.
8. Hang the wind socks in the classroom, or send them home with your students as a gift for their parents.
